Thomas is born tonight at 00:20 !
He's Elisabeth's and Tom's first child, weighs 3485 gr and is 50,5 cm. I'm looking forward visiting the parents and their new-born...

Dimitri, Bram, Mieke and I made plans yesterday on the AlumniGoliarde to have a barbecue after badmintonning tonight. And so we did... the boys brought the BBQ, Mieke the meat and I arranged vegetabels and logistics (my flat ;-))!

A bit after midnight, Dimitri, Bram, Mieke en Schalck went back home... and I could fall asleep with a full stomac.

After a whole day of training (Train The Trainer Session on the simulation tool we developped), I joined the Electrabel Team Event of Accenture in Ittre (South of Brussels). Because of the weekly badminton appointment and our crazy barbecue plans, I left earlier...

After visiting pregnant Elisabeth, I went again to the seaside. This time not to Ostend nor with my friends but to St-Idesbald with my parents. We had a walk along the beach, missed sunset and drove back home after a nice meal.

Vlerick Grand Ball 2007

This year, we had a small dinner before the Vlerick Grand Bal at my place. Johanna, Wouter, Mieke en I afterwards drove to Ostend for the ball... that -in my opinion- wasn't as good as the 2 previous editions.

KVIV Jong organized the workshop "Origineel koken! Ingenieurs in de keuken" (english: orginal cooking, engineers in the kitchen) @ Mmmmh in Antwerp this afternoon (& evening). Mieke en I were present to cook and eat self-made Caraibean food.

The theatre company 'De Roovers' played "All my sons" of A. Miller in the Vooruit tonight. That formed a perfect opportunity for Tom, Katrijn, Wouter, Mieke and I to use our 'cultuurcheques' ;-)

After the play, we spend some time in Café Vooruit: talking and talking and talking...

A sunny day... A day off... Seaside here we come!

I took another road to Mechelen this morning (accident in the Kennedytunnel) but another obstacle showed up on this alternative... The bridge in Willebroek was up!?!

Tonight, Wouter Mieke and I went to see "Das Leben der Anderen". Ever tried to imagine how spies get into other people's lifes? How creative can one be with installing tap-machines, microphones and camera's to spy on people? And did you that such things where quite common in former East-Germany?

Although Mieke is back in Belgium, I'll try to keep this blog updated. It forces me to take some pictures. And I'm sure my parent's like to stay updated on their daughther's life :-p

Each week, when queuing at Delhaize's cash desk, I'm doubting... Yes or No... Today I couldn't resist anymore: I bought some tullips :-) They're splendid! Discover my newest interior decoration in the background, an enormous photo of the Flat Iron building in NY!

It was a while ago that I went dancing. Mieke and Marcia were also eager to join :-) In the end Drimi and Schalck joined us too. I had a nice evening/night although the music wasn't great and the big crowd staid home... We didn't care!

Tonight Marijke, Johanna and I had a drink in the Hasta Maniana. Chatting about our week's advantures... A nice start of the weekend :-)

In the serie of 'morning sho0ts along the E17', the mist this morning...

Spring is in the country... The sun is shining, trees are getting leaves and people look happier :-) Yesterday Caroline V (a collaegue) and I had lunch in the Botanic Park near the ACN office in Brussels, tonight Bram, Drimi and I did the first "terrasje" of the season (after my weekly sports hour ;-))!!! I'm already looking forward for more of this...

Tonight I received one of the nicest birthday presents in ages... My brother was the extremely creative soul offering it to me!


ps. I don't want to be 26... I still prefer a quarter of a century ;-)
