The first cold morning this winter... In some places it was freezing. Along the E17 highway temperature was still 4°C but the sight on the landscape around was too beautifull to capture!

VTK organised its yearly galabal tonight. The location, concept and timing were different but it was a great party! It was just a pity that party animal Mieke was missing this edition...

Time to celebrate my 'new' appartment: a real 4 course diner with my good friends :-) The afterparty in the city centre was funny and ended late (now)...

In the context of the Creativity Forum, the major musea of Ghent organized tonight a special event: "Museumnacht" (the dutch word for "Museum Night"). They staid open untill midnight and worked around special themes. Together with Wouter DJ and Tom D I visited the Bijloke and the House of Alijn. At the first we found out more about Ghent past, present and future urban plans, the other should 'Super8' movies from the second half of previous century.

Early this morning... I enjoy the sight while not enjoying the traffic jams :-s

After an extra long weekend (it included Monday), I used my 'moving home vacation' day to switch tires on my car, to pass by the "administratief centrum" of Ghent, and I even jumped in on the official opening of the President's meeting of BEST (organised by my former LBG, Ghent namely). The opening was very elegant: in the prettiest room of the city hall, with prince Laurent speeching and a reception afterwards :-) Somewhat melancholic I thought about the PM in Mamaia 4 years ago...

"Le Cigalon" was our hotel for the weekend: a cosy place with magnificant food in the restaurant in the most beautifull region of Luxembourg, the 'Mullerthal'. Food and drinks (I'm a big fan of Luxembourg wines) filled our evenings, while we visited the MUDAM and a local wine farmer on Saturday afternoon.


The waterfall of Mullerthal was our Sunday visit...

The 330 km trip back home was far less pleasant :(
